Xi Research serves the research needs of Aispire Consulting. We are involved in medical research, robotics and applied business research.

Some of our work includes: designing artificially intelligent supply chain management systems; helping to predict schizophrenia; detecting DNA abnormalities from base-pair sequences; automaticaly building robust adaptive robot controllers, using naturally inspired principles to generate powerful new computational algorithms.

Aispire and Xi Research

Xi Research is fully owned by Aispire but is also partly autonomous, making its own money to fund non-commercial/long-term, academic research. To this end we write (and are writing) shareware built from tools we use in research.

Academia and Business

Aispire's founding members, Simon Garrett and Joanne Walker, bring a wealth of expertise to the company and to Xi Research. They have extensive experience of managing complex scientific projects, and are still involved in cutting-edge artificial intelligence research.

Between them, they have publshed nearly 30 academic papers and have both been awarded doctorates. They continue to write up their company research for the benefit of the academic community.

At the same time, they have worked with small and large businesses for several years, and have a good raport with the business world. This ongoing breadth and depth, in both science and industry, helps Aispire meet client needs quickly.
